The 99th Annual Conference is a moment to stand united and show that our strength continues to grow. The logo features a modern, stylized tree with abstract, branching forms—symbolizing unity, resilience, and growth. These organic elements extend beyond the logo to shape the full visual identity, creating a flexible design system used across all event materials, from motion graphics to signage.
About Annual Conference
The CSEA Annual Conference is a statewide event that brings together thousands of classified school employees each year. As lead designer, I created a visual identity that captured the theme and connected with members across California—through motion graphics, signage, and more—reflecting the strength and unity of the CSEA community.
As the lead designer for the CSEA Annual Conference, I developed the full visual identity based on the event’s theme. After collaborating with our design team, researching past materials, and exploring multiple directions, I presented the final logo to leadership for approval.
From there, I created a complete set of supporting graphic elements that formed the foundation of the event’s branding. These assets were used consistently across all materials to ensure a cohesive and recognizable look throughout the conference.
I designed a wide range of deliverables, including:
Motion graphics
-T-shirts
- Web graphics
- Collectible pins
- Flyers (in various sizes)
- Banners
- Retractable displays
- Badges
I worked closely with other departments and our in-house print shop to manage production details like color accuracy and sizing. I also assisted with on-site support and coordination during the event, collaborating with LSAV Powerhouse—a full-service audiovisual company specializing in live, hybrid, and virtual events—to ensure smooth execution of all visual components.
In addition, I helped plan strategic placement of digital and directional signage throughout the GSR Casino, where the conference was held. With extensive access to digital screens across the venue, I worked to ensure signage was visible, informative, and accessible for attendees navigating the large casino environment.
