Design a logo and complete branding system based on a provided theme for a conference event held at the GSR Casino in Reno, Nevada. The logo and overall branding had to convey a modern, engaging feel that captured the excitement of the event and connected with our members, while adapting seamlessly across both digital and print formats, including signage, merchandise, and promotional materials.
About Annual Conference
The CSEA Annual Conference gathers 2,000 delegates to discuss key issues for classified school employees, vote on resolutions, elect officers, and attend workshops on leadership and union advocacy. It also recognizes member achievements, fosters networking, and strengthens solidarity to support CSEA's advocacy efforts.
For this project, I was tasked with creating a logo based on the theme "Empowered, Courageous, Enduring". I worked closely with the graphics team to brainstorm creative directions that would represent the theme and resonate with our members. After refining several concepts, I presented the final logo and complete branding kit to stakeholders for review and approval.
I led the visual development of the conference identity, overseeing the creation of the logo, branded assets, motion graphics, promotional items, and web graphics, as well as providing on-site production support.
To ensure consistent branding throughout the event, I designed a complete collection of visual assets:
- Attendee badges
- Collectible pins
- T-shirts
- PowerPoint templates
- Invitations
- Posters and flyers
- Digital and physical signage
-Motion graphics
The final branding kit brought cohesion to conference—from digital screens to wearable swag. The logo and materials were well-received by our members. It contributed to an engaging and professional event.
